Reg Hall, who through 2 work related accidents in the late 1930’s did damage to both his hands, depriving him of the ability to play his beloved violin. Many years later he was once again offered the opportunity to play a musical instrument, a trombone, through the New Zealand Brass Band movement. His music returned, bringing peace of mind, stimulation and happiness.

This story covers the decade from 1957 – 1967 in Upper Hutt, New Zealand.
