Novel writing course
Dates: Tuesday’s and Friday’s from March 14th for 6 weeks
From 10am till 12pm (noon)
$180 for 6 weeks ($15 per session – flexible payments can be negotiated)
Held at the Writers Plot Readers Read Bookshop, 893 Ferguson Dr, Upper Hutt.
The goal would be for people to get far enough into their chosen work for the momentum to carry them to the end alone. Probably suit new writers (or not so new writers that need regular goal setting to keep on track).
Even though we say novel – Cat is keen on helping anyone undertaking a large body of work, for example: a short story collection, novella, novel.
This workshop is about writing (sitting bums in chairs and hitting weekly targets), with guidance if required and group feedback. Too often writers and impending writers focus on the end (finding agents, publishers, or self-publishing) when they need to be focusing in the writing, without that you have nothing to sell to a publisher.
Places will be limited so registration is essential. (Refreshments provided)
To registration interest either come into the shop or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with “Novel writing course interest” as the subject.
We want your course to run smoothly and for you to get the most from it, please consider the following:
